Casey Family Programs recognizes that the safety and well-being of children must be seen in the context of their families, and that the stability and resilience of those families must be seen in the context of the conditions in the communities where they live. Improving the lives of children and families requires addressing the social conditions that get in the way of families being able to raise their children safely and successfully. Investing in families means strengthening them, not separating them unnecessarily. This report explores how investing equitably in all three — child, family, community — can move us toward our shared goal of sustaining hope for every child and family.
