This paper provides background information on Teach for America (TFA) successes, challenges, and impact through the years; examines lessons from TFA in relation to child welfare; and presents options for future consideration. The paper is intended to challenge traditional thinking and serve as a foundation and starting point for reframing approaches to both child welfare service delivery and its workforce problems.
