This section provides resources on the challenge of retaining workers in child welfare, describing the factors that contribute to worker turnover, and reporting on efforts to reduce turnover and improve retention. Included are examples of national, State, and local efforts to assess the causes of worker turnover and address those causes through workplace and systemic initiatives.
