Internal Reliability of the OCFS Competency-Based Interview for Hiring Child Welfare Caseworkers

This paper examines the reliability of the revised standardized screening process. Staff at the Child Welfare Training Institute became involved with the redesign of the screening process and advocated that the new process be standardized, be based on job analysis, use multiple job-related assessments, and focus on specific competencies.
