February marks Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Each year nearly 1.5 million young people experience abuse by a dating partner. Understanding the dynamics of dating violence and how it can impact youth differently is particularly important for providers who work with youth. During this session we will explore how dating violence impacts young people from historically marginalized communities, how to approach conversations with young people who have experienced dating violence, and what we all can do to move towards prevention.
