Cultivating Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice bring people together to share, grow, and learn. This webinar explains how to successfully cultivate a community of practice to elevate groups bound together by a common purpose. Proper cultivation results in a harvest of new ideas and better practices. Participants will learn strategies for recruiting and engaging members to make the most of their communities of practice. Representatives from Hawaii Department of Human Services, Adult Protective and Community Services Branch will present how they keep their training system invigorated through a highly popular community of practice that gets everyone excited about learning better training approaches. Participants will also learn how NSDTA and APHSA support communities of practice through an interactive learning management system and educational events.
