Elevating those with lived experience in support programs

During this webinar for child welfare professionals, presenters will discuss how to incorporate those with lived experience into your support programs for resource families. Attendees will learn strategies to help prepare their agencies to support those with lived experience, including foster and adoptive parents, kinship caregivers, youth and adults with foster care experience, and adoptees. Presenters will also discuss key dynamics and considerations as you onboard staff, volunteers, or advisers with different lived experiences. A presenter with lived experience will share his insights on how to do this well, and common pitfalls to avoid.
