Join Children’s Verena Brown, MD, for webinar providing an introduction to Intrafamilial Child Torture (ICT): torture inflicted on children by their parents or caregivers. Using cases from the files of the child abuse pediatricians at the Stephanie Blank Center, this webinar will provide a definition of ICT, discuss common case presentations and injuries, and provide recommendations on follow-up care. The importance of working with a multi-disciplinary team during the investigation will also be discussed.
