“This holiday season will be unlike any other as most Americans struggle with overwhelming financial uncertainty: high inflation, the looming recession, rising interest rates, growing food insecurity, climate change, the unknown consequences of recent supreme court decisions, recurring COVID, and the list goes on.

Despite record economic and social instability, the holiday season (along with Santa Claus) is coming to town. Clients will need help navigating the additional problems, stress, guilt, shame, and trauma of being unable to afford the costs traditionally associated with the holidays (gifts, parties, decorations, etc.).”
