Step by Step Decision-Making for Youth Justice System Transformation

The Second Chance Act awarded grant funds in FY18 to provide TA to six diverse jurisdictions with the goal to “improve outcomes of youth placed on community supervision, particularly those with co-occurring disorders, in the interest of reducing delinquent behavior and promoting public safety.”

In collaboration with these sites, the RFK National Resource Center developed comprehensive juvenile justice system improvement plans based on best practice standards and ensured that critical improvements were sustainable, measurable, and replicable.
