To Cry for You with Carolyn Arends
This webinar is hosted by Room 217
Carolyn Arends wrote “To Cry for You” in a season of intense grief after the loss of a parent. At first, she thought the song was too vulnerable to share publicly. But Arends’s closest community urged her to release it, and when she did, the song prompted a flood of responses—hundreds of thousands of people sharing their own stories of bereavement. In this webinar, Carolyn will offer the story of “To Cry for You” as a case study in the healing and connective power of music—both in palliative care and also in helping individuals learn to grieve well.
