Trauma and its Relationship to Successful Reentry

During this webinar, the presenters will share research on the lasting impacts of trauma and prevalence of individuals with traumatic experiences involved in the justice system. They will also discuss the impact trauma may have on reentry and what occurs to an individual when triggered by an event in their surroundings, along with how staff/agencies might recognize early warning signs and respond in a constructive way to decrease the likelihood of a major event. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A that addresses the impact trauma may have on returning citizens.
