Research indicates that gambling is interrelated with various health issues and disproportionately impacts individuals with mental health disorders and substance misuse disorders.
The lives of gamblers and of their families are complicated and present unique challenges for those who work with them. The gambling industry has evolved over the past decade with online options making access quicker and easier.
