Workshop: Empowered Journalism Higher Ed. Training

Are you a current or former foster youth? Do you have lived experience in the juvenile justice system and with homelessness? Join us for a free workshop open to college students with lived experience to learn how to brainstorm, write and publish an op-ed that amplifies youth voices and empower others with live experience. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to see their work published on The Imprint, a news site dedicated to child welfare and juvenile justice. In addition, all writers that complete both components will earn $250 for their attendance and work.
