PCDC, in collaboration the SAMHSA Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions, is engaging in a year-long virtual initiative focused on addressing sleep and related social and health needs through enhancing integrated primary and behavioral health care. This webinar will introduce the basics of sleep, how sleep and sleep deprivation impacts health (behavioral health and chronic medical conditions), as well as briefly survey sleep’s relationships with current events, including COVID-19; SDoH and particularly race; and opportunities for integrating primary care and behavioral health.
