Achieving Racial Equity: Child Welfare Policy Strategies to Improve Outcomes for Children of Color

This report begins by providing contextual information about the disparities often experienced by children and families of color, followed by detailed policy strategies that have shown promise in reducing disparities and improving outcomes for children and families of, as well as how funds were strategically directed to make these changes. A Race Equity Impact Assessment Tool is also included to help policymakers understand the impact of changes on particular groups.
