This paper summarizes the article “Assessing the Organizational Social Context (OSC) of Child Welfare Systems: Implications for Research and Practice,” which finds that organizational climates characterized by low rigidity, and high engagement and functionality are associated with the most positive work attitudes; and caseworkers in the best organizational culture and climate profiles report higher levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
